Having to move the work shack to a new location late last fall has found my arrival home this spring with lots to accomplish before I can move forward with this seasons peppercorns.

The first 6 months of 2022 found the harvest early.

As with every season production changes. This season found the heat coming on strong which produced ripper peppercorns quickly. This does change the complexity of the flavor, The ripper the pepper the fruitier it's flavor.

Due to my own personal health challenges, vanilla pollinating took a back seat.

The climate has somewhat changed and we have been experiencing heavier than normal rains.

Do keep in touch if you are planning on visiting Costa Rica. We always have time for a tour.
